Media attention has recently focused on the Open Water Research Station and the plight of 4 Steller sea lions that have been at the forefront of an incredible research program designed to address the conservation needs of sea lions in the wild. It has been an incredibly productive research program in terms of new findings, peer reviewed publications, and the development and validation of new technologies for use in the wild.
