Thesis:  Fine scale foraging ecology of female northern fur seals (Callorhinus ursinus) in the eastern Bering Sea

Research interests:  The objectives of my M.Sc. research are to determine the pelagic habitat used by lactating northern fur seals (Callorhinus ursinus) during the breeding season using information collected by 12-channel dead-reckoners, and to assess the degree of spatial overlap between fur seal foraging areas and commercial fishing activity in the eastern Bering Sea.
