Episode 3: Panning for Gold
One of the best ways to determine what goes into
the diet of a Steller sea lion is to measure what comes out the other
end. This procedure, called scat analysis, helps scientists to better
understand what sea lions eat. In the long run, it may help to conserve
wild populations.
